Colour Charts
We have created colour charts for all our colour products and although
we have endeavoured to present them as accurately as possible, there will
be variations depending on your monitor settings. The brightness, contrast
and room conditions will all effect the colour you see. We therefore recommend
that you use the colour charts purely as an indication of colour.

Prices
We try to ensure that products are priced competitively and regularly
price check to ensure excellent value. We guarantee that we will match
the advertised price of an identical product costing over £200 (including
delivery costs) and available by mail order in the UK.
All prices are shown inclusive of UK rates of VAT (sales tax) and will
be charged to EU residents only using the rate applicable at the invoice
date. Non EU residents, and residents of the Channel Islands, do not pay
sales tax for orders delivered to their residential address.

Savings
We are always seeking ways of making our products as reasonably priced
as possible. Throughout the site you will discover the opportunity to
buy more and save up to 15% on selected items, starting with natural dyes,
moving on to silk scarves, through to fibres and onto yarns. Simply search
for the words 'buy more & save' in the relevant craft section to discover
the bargains in store.
You can also join the George
Weil Society for just £19.50 per year. Members enjoy
10% discount on all products up to the value of £500.00 per item
plus free delivery (on orders over £4.95) to a single UK postal
address. The offer cannot be extended to books and magazines but does
include the majority of materials and equipment on this web site.

Buying Products

At the product page, click the 'add to bag' button which will take
you to the shopping bag. You can choose to 'continue shopping', 'update'
or 'remove' the item or 'proceed to the checkout'.

Click the 'proceed to checkout' option to buy the product(s).

At the 'registration' page either:
• fill in your email address and password if you have previously
registered, or
• fill in the registration form (see privacy
policy), now click 'continue'.

Your name and address will be added automatically to the 'delivery'
page. Tick the box half way down the page if delivery is to the same
address or provide an alternative address.

The 'confirmation' page shows your billing address, delivery address,
the items you have ordered and their value, discounts
if any and delivery charges. There is also a 'notes' section for any
specifications you may have such as delivery arrangements. We recommend
you print this page for your records. Click 'next' if you are
happy to continue.

The 'payment' page tells you how you can pay and how much you will
pay. We remind you that payment will not be taken until we have
dispatched your order. To prevent delay of your order, please
enter your card details as accurately as possible.

To complete the process, click on the 'continue' button. You can then
choose to 'continue shopping' or 'log out' (in top right corner).

Items out of Stock
Our policy is to fill 95% of orders from stock. If we are out of stock
on any item price over £4.95, you will be notified and the remainder
of your order will be sent as soon as the goods are available at no additional
carriage cost.

Handling & Delivery Information
Orders received week days and before 12 noon will normally be delivered
within 3 working days to addresses in the UK. Delivery time is not predictable
but will be before 5.30pm, week days. Please see below for delivery information
on orders from overseas.
If you place an order during the weekend, please allow a further 24 hours.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have not received your order
when it is expected. Parcels sent by our Courier Service are rarely delayed
or go missing. Do not accept any package if it appears damaged and notify
us immediately if you have refused the package. It is always advisable
to sign for goods as ‘unexamined’. In the event of a claim
against the carrier, you will need to answer any enquiries from them or
we can not accept responsibility for compensation. The packing materials
must be kept for the carrier’s inspection.

Overseas Customers
Orders from overseas customers are welcome. You will be advised of the
delivery cost in a separate email. Please proceed through the check out
area, complete the 'notes' section specifying a preference for either
surface or airmail and provide us with payment details.
The goods will not be dispatched and your card will not be debited
until we have received a response to our email confirming carriage costs.
VAT at 17.5% is included in the prices shown on this web site. For orders
from countries outside the EU & Channel Islands,
the total order value will be adjusted to remove the VAT. The buyer may
be liable for import tax and duty at the rate set by their government.
While all care has been taken in making available and maintaining
the Currency Conversion Rates displayed on this site, these are estimates
only of the exchange rates applied to a transaction when completed. These
rates are provided for information purposes only without express or implied
warranty.
Product Advice
Due to the nature of the materials we sell, such as paints, dyes and
fibres, there will often be a variation in the end result. We suggest
you:

order enough materials to complete a project i.e. fibres for spinning
a quantity of yarn

keep notes of times, temperatures and techniques and ideally, a record
book
-
it always advisable to sample before starting your project
Whilst we are happy to give advice on product use, we cannot accept liability
as conditions of use are totally outside our control.
