Batik on Mulberry paper and Lokta paper using hot candle
wax as a resist with procion dyes (recipe, hot water and
salt only). The brilliance of the dyes plus the looseness of
the work with hot wax makes the work very immediate and
vibrant
and the Batik wax has masked the areas Diana intended to
keep white, such as the snow and sunlight.
